On Memorial Day, we headed to Glacier National Park for our first time this summer and for Zane's first time ever. Sadly, I left our camera at home so we stopped at a photo shop in West Glacier were Luke used to work in the summer ages ago. So, the quality of the photos is not the best, but it is better than nothing and Zane's first trip had to be documented! The park was only opened up to the Trail of Cedars/Avalanche Gorge. It's a great little stroll through the beautiful tall cedars and alongside Avalanche creek. There is a wooden walkway that has been built through this area which is great for folks with strollers. Most of our visitors have had the pleasure of doing this little jaunt through the woods. After our walk, we left the park and had a bite of lunch at a quaint little cafe in West Glacier. It was a great way to spend our day.
